RADIOLOGY: Image Gently (and Choose Wisely) - Recommendations for Specific Indications
Dr. Putegnat and Dr. Head will discuss when imaging is appropriate and tactics for reducing radiation exposure.  They will provide helpful clinical guidelines and resources for additional information.   

Learning Objectives:
  • Discuss the potential risks of low dose radiation associated with imaging (primarily CT).
  • Describe tactics for reducing radiation exposure when CT is necessary.
  • Describe available imaging alternatives which have no associated radiation exposure.
  • Recognize when not to image.
