NOT ENDURING: When Things Just Don't Make Sense - Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy

Overview:
Dr. Karen Schultz will describe Munchausen's syndrome by proxy and its affects on patients and providers. Dr. Jamye Coffman will discuss medical child abuse and how it differs from other forms of child abuse. Michael Weber will address medical child abuse from a law enforcement perspective.  

Learning Objectives:

  • Differentiate medical child abuse from other forms of child abuse.
